Lockheed Martin´s UH-60 Black Hawk Deliveries to Brazil: A Foreign Military Sales Sucess

In December 2025, the Brazilian Army received its first UH-60M Black Hawk helicopter from Sikorsky (Lockheed Martin), marking the start of deliveries under a 12-aircraft Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contract valued at approximately $950 million.Procured via U.S. FMS under the Arms Export Control Act, this government-to-government transaction ensures standardized acquisition, logistical support, and interoperability. The UH-60M fleet will replace aging UH-60L and AS532 Cougar helicopters, enhancing tactical airlift, medical evacuation, and disaster response.Remaining deliveries are scheduled into 2026, advancing Brazil's Army Aviation modernization program. No other major Lockheed Martin initiatives in Brazil for 2026 announced.
